By keeping these principles at the forefront of the business, Riegele has remained a prominent actor in the German beer market for centuries – without splurging on marketing!  At Riegele, using the best ingredients for brewing is a given. But investing in staff takes precedence so that creativity can flourish in a transparent and trusting environment that fuses tradition with innovation. Riegele opened its doors in 1386, making Sebastian the 28th generation of Priller-Riegele brewers. Out of 1400 breweries in the country, Riegele was named the Best German Brewery in 2017. In the same year, Sebastian was named Craft Brewer of the Year, while in 2011 he took home the title of World Champion of Beer Sommeliers.
