Germany is home to 1400 breweries producing 95.8 million hectolitres of beer annually, which is enjoyed globally.   Born into the world of beer, Sebastian is continuing his family’s heritage as the 28th generation of Riegele brewers. Sebastian holds the titles of Craft Brewer of the Year for 2017 and the World Champion of Beer Sommeliers for 2011. Drawing from a wealth of knowledge and experience in the German beer industry, Sebastian shares his expertise and passion for German beers and beer culture in this course.  Learn about different German beer styles, why a German beer purity law from the 16th century is still in effect, how beer is made, how to pour a beer, how to pair different beers with food, and so much more!  Servers and bartenders, it’s time to up your German beer knowledge and take your customer service to the next level.
