Typsy unveiled: Audio dubbing, Gold Streaks, and enhanced Leaderboards

We've been busy here at Typsy, and we've got a lot of updates to share. From Audio dubbing, to Gold Streaks, to Leaderboards - we've added and upgraded features across the platform that will help you to engage your team and optimize your guest experience.

Here's what we've built for you.

Audio dubbing:

Typsy is excited to announce the rollout of audio-dubbed lessons in Bahasa and Spanish, making our entire video library accessible in these two languages. This significant update allows members to listen to lessons in their first language, enhancing their ability to engage with and retain information. By providing content in the learner's native tongue, Typsy ensures that language barriers do not hinder the learning process, promoting a more inclusive and effective educational experience. 

To enable a language within your desktop account, simply click your name in the top right corner, then select "Profile" > "Settings" > "Video Player". Then set the language to your preferred option and log out and back into Typsy for your new settings to appear. On the Typsy Mobile App, you will click “Settings” > “General Settings” > “Change Language”. In the mobile app, this will change navigation, audio dubbing, and quiz language.

This process allows users to quickly switch to Bahasa or Spanish, making their learning journey smoother and more personalized. Typsy is committed to expanding its language offerings and plans to roll out additional languages throughout the year, further supporting our diverse global community of learners. 

Gold Streaks: 

Typsy is thrilled to announce the release of an exciting new feature called "Gold Streaks." With this innovative addition, users who pass their quizzes on the first attempt will earn a prestigious gold trophy. Silver and Bronze trophies are awarded for subsequent passes. This achievement is more than just a symbol of success; it is a testament to the user's dedication and understanding of the material. As users continue to pass their quizzes on the first try, they will build a Gold Streak, creating a visual representation of their consistent high performance and mastery of the content. 

The introduction of Gold Streaks aims to shift the focus from merely completing numerous quizzes to truly understanding and retaining the information being presented within each course. By rewarding users who achieve high scores on their first attempt, Typsy encourages learners to engage more deeply with the material, promoting quality over quantity. This feature not only motivates users to strive for excellence but also fosters a more effective and meaningful learning experience, ensuring that knowledge is thoroughly absorbed and applied. 

Leaderboard improvement: 

Typsy has upgraded its leaderboard design to enhance clarity and user experience, making it easier for users to track their progress and performance. One of the standout improvements is the ability for members to jump directly to their position on the leaderboard. This feature allows users to quickly see their scores relative to those around them, providing immediate insight into their standing and encouraging friendly competition. The cleaner, more intuitive design ensures that users can easily navigate and interpret the leaderboard, making their learning journey more engaging and motivating. 

For managers, Typsy has introduced a new Achievements Leaderboard on their side of the system. This leaderboard allows managers to effortlessly track the gold, silver, and bronze trophies earned by their staff, providing a clear overview of individual and team accomplishments. With this tool, managers can better recognize and reward high-performing employees, fostering a culture of achievement and continuous improvement. The enhanced leaderboards improve usability and support a more effective and motivating learning environment for users and managers.
